About Patrick Bochart
I am an information security advisor with more than 30 years in information technology, over 20 of them devoted to security. Executive teams, public institutions and service providers call on me when cybersecurity, regulatory compliance and digital trust become board-level questions.
My core expertise is the design and operation of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) based on ISO/IEC 27001, together with preparation for the NIS2 Directive and the GDPR. I favour frameworks that are proportionate to the risks, easy to audit and genuinely used by the people who run them.
In 2024, I founded Nezha Consulting to offer this experience independently, through CISO-as-a-Service engagements, compliance programmes and training.
My mission
To help organisations treat cyber risk as a business decision, not a technical afterthought.
Security earns its place when it supports continuity, trust and performance. I work with leadership teams so that security priorities follow business objectives and regulatory duties, and so that every investment answers a clearly identified risk. Complexity is the enemy of compliance: the simplest control that does the job is usually the right one.
My approach
Every engagement follows a risk-based method designed to produce consistent, verifiable results. Working alongside executives, CISOs, DPOs and operational teams, I:
- assess the organisation’s context, risk exposure and regulatory obligations;
- design a governance model sized to that reality, aligned with ISO/IEC 27001 and related standards;
- translate requirements into policies, procedures and controls that teams can actually apply;
- support implementation through documentation, awareness sessions and coaching;
- prepare for audits and embed continuous improvement.
The outcome: security becomes part of how the organisation is run, rather than a separate project.
